Job purpose:

·  The Business Process team will support and coordinate global process improvements and training initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of standardized processes and play a key role in the rollout of training programs to support adoption and compliance on a global scale. You will also assist the Head of Business Process Management in driving performance management by tracking KPIs, supporting data-driven reviews, and identifying opportunities for operational excellence.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

Business Process Management

 

Training Rollout Coordination

·       Coordinate global training rollouts for onboarding new agents and refresher training.

·       Support in maintaining training materials with process changes.

·       Schedule and monitor training delivery across regions, ensuring participation and compliance.

·       Collect feedback and support continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods.

Performance Management Support

·       Assist the Head of BPM in managing performance frameworks related to business processes.

·       Collect, analyze, and report on key performance indicators to identify trends and gaps.

·       Support preparation of performance reviews, dashboards, and executive reporting materials.

·       Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving process adoption, consistency, and effectiveness.

Team Collaboration & Communication

·       Act as the liaison between process owners, regional leads, and training teams to ensure alignment.

·       Support change management efforts by reinforcing messaging and process clarity at the team level.

Operations

·         Responsible for overall operations in SeaLead Shipping India to ensure the services are performed to service requirement.

·         Be the point of contact for all related operational matters of the appointed vessel - acting with responsibility, due diligence and according to SeaLead’s values and goals.

·         Work closely with the various internal and external stakeholders (Head Office, ship masters, equipment managers, husbandry agents, terminals, depots, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

·         Pro-actively resolve vessel loading/ discharging operation challenges, preventing delay of operations and improve operational efficiency.

·         Communicate with Customs, Port Authorities and Shipping Lines to ensure operations are accordance to the company’s policies local legislation regulations.

·         Coordinate and work closely with Line Management and Equipment management to optimise overall resources and vessel/ Equipment operational flow.

·         Identify all potential issues which may affect operations, highlighting and following up with the necessary actions to prevent/ mitigate any impact from contingencies.

·         Drive down port overstays and improve overall operation productivity.

·         Perform vendors service and contract evaluations in consultation with the MD and Finance Manager.

·         Propose/ recommend new vendors to the MD/Finance Manager for approval.

·         Conflict resolution between stakeholders during entire vessel operations.

Language requirements:

Bachelor level education, operation or related fields, MS Office - Excel)

English – Fluent (required)

Background and experience:

Competencies and skills:                           

·       7–8 years of experience in business process improvement, training coordination, or operations support

·       Knowledge of Shipping is required

·       Knowledge in Process Improvement would be an advantage

·       Knowledge of SAP capabilities would be an advantage

·       Knowledge of geography and port operations

·       Time management and organizational skills

·       Strong understanding of process mapping tools

·       Good communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate

·       Ability to train others

·       Good excel skills

·       Passionate about vessel operations with desire and ambition to grow in the company

·         Pro-active with a visible sense of urgency, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a very dynamic environment

·         Thrives in fast-paced operational environment with many priorities simultaneously
